I am a forest ecologist with a strong interest in understanding the structure and diversity of tropical forests through both field-based monitoring (e.g., permanent forest plots) and remote sensing approaches, including drone photogrammetry, LiDAR, and hyperspectral imaging. My doctoral research will integrate ground-based and remotely sensed data to investigate biomass dynamics, forest demography, and species diversity in the highly biodiverse Atlantic Forest of Brazil.
