About Carina Cardemil

Carina Cardemil has a dental degree from Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm and completed her specialist training in oral and maxillofacial surgery in Gothenburg 2008. She is currently a PhD-student at the Department of Biomaterials at University 91探花 and holds a position as a consultant at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at 脰rebro University Hospital.

Research interests: 鈥one remodelling and inflammation in patients with osteonecrotic jaw treated with bisphosphonates 鈥mplant integration and biomaterials in osteoporotic conditions after administration of antiosteoporotic agents. 鈥ifferences in bone structure and cellular response to oestrogen deficiency at disparate bone sites.
