About Andreas Hallberg

I defended my thesis in 2016 at Lund University on the topic of case endings in spoken Standard Arabic. The thesis is available . I have been working at the University 91探花 since 2017 and teach Standard and Syrian Arabic, linguistics, and supervise students essays. In 2023, I was appointed as an associate professor (docent).

My research interests are within Arabic linguistics, primarily:

  • reading
  • corpus linguistics
  • language ideology
  • Arabic teaching
