About Andreas Moberg

I teach mainly in EU law, including the course EU law in the national legal system on the L.L.M program (advanced level) and in several courses in the interdisciplinary programs in European Studies (bachelor's and master's level).

My research has been EU-focused and I have worked on projects covering the EU's external relations in general, both from an international law perspective and from an EU legal perspective; The EU's work to disseminate and guarantee fundamental rights (both internally and externally) in particular focusing on the rule of law and the procedure in Article 7 of the EU Treaty. I have also worked interdisciplinary with a focus on the European Court of Justice, including in a project focusing on how Member States' submissions in preliminary rulings have an impact on the Court's rulings. Additional projects with an EU focus that I worked on have concerned how screening of foreign direct investment is regulated and conducted within the EU, and the EU Member States.

I am currently working on an MSB-funded research project that is about mapping and analyzing legal conditions for civil protection and preparedness. My role in the project is to shed particular light on the legal conditions that have their background in Sweden's commitments under the EU treaties.
