Bani Ahluwalia is an researcher exploring therapeutic options for gastrointestinal disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome. Her doctoral research aims to determine the importance of the intestinal microenvironment in IBS and to assess the therapeutic effect of Aloe barbadensis Mill. (Aloe) extract intervention in patients with IBS. This research is conducted at the Institute of Biomedicine, Department of Microbiology and Immunology, in collaboration with Calmino group AB.
