About Christer Larsson

Doctoral student at the Faculty of Fine Arts since August 2018 in the subject Research on Arts Education. Associated with CUL, a faculty-wide graduate school at the University 91̽»¨.

My research interests concern the professionalism and professionalization of Swedish music teachers in relation to Swedish governmental policy prescribing education that rests on [a] scientific foundation. My interest in this field stems from my own everyday experience of music education practice, as well as discussions with students and colleagues, during more than 15 years of work as a music teacher, mostly at the upper-secondary level.
