About Fredrik Engström

Associate Professor of Logic (Universitetslektor and Docent). Deputy Dean (Prodekan) at the Faculty of Humantites with responsibility for PhD-studies and premises. Project leader for the VR-funded research project Foundations of team semantics: Meaning in an enriched framework.

PhD in Mathematics from Chalmers University of Technology in 2004 with a thesis in mathematical logic. Parts of the research was done at the University of Birmingham under the supervision of Richard Kaye.

Worked after the PhD as a Senior Lecturer in Mathematics at the Mid Sweden University in Sundsvall. Since 2006 employed at Gothenburg University, first as Postdoctoral Reseach Fellow, then as Researcher and since 2018 as Senior Lecturer in Logic. Head of the Department of Philosophy, Linguistics and Theory of 91̽»¨ 2016 to 2021.
