About Mohsen Mirkhalaf

Since early 2020, I have been an assistant professor at GU-Physics, and I have been leading the research group Mechanics and Physics of Materials at the department. My current research interests are:

  • Developing micromechanical and multi-scale models for (bio-)composites,
  • Using machine learning techniques to improve the computational efficiency of physics-based models,
  • Developing machine learning enhanced physics-based models for designing (bio)-composites,
  • Using physics-based models and machine learning techniques to develop models and tools for medical applications.
