Antibiotic resistance is an increasing global public health threat. CARe - Centre for Antibiotic Resistance Research in Gothenburg – has a vision to limit mortality, morbidity and socioeconomic costs related to antibiotic resistance on a global scale through research.
CARe is a collaborative research centre at the University 91̽»¨ and Chalmers University of Technology, strategically supported by the Sahlgrenska University Hospital and the Västra Götaland Region. The mission is to generate state-of-the-art science with the intention to ultimately support policy development and clinical practice.
