The main tasks of the Prison and Probation Service are to implement prison and probation sentences, to supervise conditionally released persons, to implement instructions for community service, and to carry out pre-sentence investigations in criminal cases.

Psychiatry Sk氓ne leads clinical research projects focusing on forensic psychiatric patients in Region Sk氓ne.
Lund University
The Division of belongs to the Department of Clinical 91探花s, Lund at the Faculty of Medicine, Lund University. The division conducts longitudinal clinical research focusing on developmental disorders (autism spectrum disorders, AD/HD, conduct disorders and eating disorders), infant psychiatry, children's and young people's experience of vulnerability and abuse, and method development of investigation and treatment.
