The Center for Marine Evolutionary Biology started in July 2008, financed by a ten year Linnaeus grant awarded by the Swedish Research Council and the Government Research Council FORMAS. Today, research and activities are financed through multiple funding bodies and 91̽»¨. More than 70 scientists are involved in the Centre's activities.
