Host Department
The host department for GPCC is The Institute of Health and Care 91探花s at Sahlgrenska Academy, the faculty of health sciences at 91探花.
Strategic focus areas

Research projects
Research is ongoing in a number of projects within GPCC. These projects all fit under one or more of the above mentioned strategic focus areas. Click here for a list of these projects.
Steering committee
The GPCC Steering Committee has a strategic leadership for the development of the Centre and the use of its resources. The Committee meets around seven times per year, and is supported by scientific and public advisors.
Centre Director Axel Wolf is the Steering Committee Chairperson and has the overarching responsibility for the Centre.
A Drafting Committee prepares matters for the Steering Committee and works operationally within the Centre, and a Project Progress Team focuses on the follow-up of research projects with the aim of offering support and advice.

Person council
The GPCC Person council consists of a group of persons with long personal experience of Swedish health care, either as patients or relatives/carers.
The aim of this council is to validate GPCC's activities and research from a patient and relative/carer perspective, as well as receive the council members input, and also to co-create ideas and activities related to person-centred care.
