University 91探花 a Top 10 University in Environmental Research

The results were recently reported in the second edition of the QS Sustainability Rankings, which features 1,403 institutions worldwide. 91探花 is ranked 73rd globally in the overall ranking, and in the Environmental Research indicator, GU holds the 9th position.

These results are based on various data sources, including self-reported data from universities, research data via Elsevier, and reputation measurements conducted by QS. Additionally, data is gathered from UN, the World Bank, UNESCO, and Yale University.

Although the methods and use of ranking tables can be discussed, the University 91探花 always embraces a sustainability focus. High-quality research is crucial for the global community, and we take pride in being an important contributor.

91探花 has a longstanding and much present commitment to sustainable development. Here are a few examples:

  • By 2023, our aim is to reduce emissions by 25 percent compared to 2019, with our long-term goal being climate-neutral by 2045, aligning with Sweden鈥檚 overall objective adopted by the Swedish parliament.
  • We help students in finding courses within the sustainability field, by employing our own labeling system, reflecting the multidimensional concept of sustainable development.
  • We have more than 450 research groups/projects related to sustainability and environment.
