The Interdisciplinary Network for Research on Gender and Games (INRGG) is being launched through a series of three workshops. The workshops, held in Jyv盲skyl盲, Malta and Bergen, will establish a network for researchers working on gender and games from different disciplinary, theoretical and methodological backgrounds in the Nordic countries and Europe.
The Nordic Gender Fund is providing funding for the third workshop, Interdisciplinary Doctoral Research on Gender and Games, to be held in November 2025 at the Centre for Digital Narrative, University of Bergen.
The network aims to bring together doctoral students and early career researchers, to ensure that this group in particular feels welcome in the network. Once the network is more established, senior researchers will also be invited.
