Short description

Through a market test, geographically limited to Gothenburg, the project will investigate how a white-certificate-like quota obligation scheme, focusing on peak power reduction, should be developed and practiced. The long term goal is to create experiences and knowledge for a possible future national market-based instrument. The focus will be on local measures that help to reduce capacity problems and emissions during so-called peak periods, which can be expected to become increasingly more important in our future energy system. The project is carried out during 34 months in close collaboration between the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation, 骋枚迟别产辞谤驳 Energi, School of Business, Economics and Law at University 91探花, Chalmers University of Technology, Profu and Sustainable Innovation.
