The dissertation examines the impact of migration on societies and how this shapes new forms of (non-)belonging, grounded in the concept of the "post-migrant society".
About the Project
This research explores how individuals construct their (non-)belongings within a society where migration and its effects are intertwined aspects of social structures and everyday life.
To generate new insights into these processes, I utilize arts-based research (ABR).
Method
The primary method is collage-making, used to investigate:
- how this approach can generate knowledge,
- make visible, and
- communicate experiences of (non-)belonging in post-migrant contexts.
