How have ethics, culture and corporate governance evolved in banking since the financial crisis? Do we need to strengthen governance in banking to improve ethics and culture? And is improved governance needed in order to strengthen banks’ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategies?
The conference will bring academics and practitioners together to discuss these questions. In particular, banks are facing new challenges in terms of informational technology, regulations, and global changes. These challenges have e.g. resulted in problems related to money laundering and affected customer relations and practices. Do they also call for new forms of leadership, organization, and governance?
