Niklas Sörum is the director of Centre for Consumption Research

The steering committee consists of eight members from the Gothenburg School of Business, Economics and Law, the Faculty of Humanities, the Faculty of Social 91̽»¨ and the Faculty of Education. The members are appointed for a period of three years.

Centre for Consumption Research aims to cooperate with society by: 

• Public seminars,
• Research reports (e.g. the yearly Consumption Report) available to download from the website.
• Involves corporations, NGO´s and public organisations in research workshops.
• Coordinates the research network ConriN with approximately 300 consumer researchers in the Nordic countries.

CCR also maintains in-depth partnerships with a number of public institutions, such as the Swedish Consumer Agency and the Region of Västra Götaland and engage in commissioned research in the public sector.
