Organization
CHEGU is led by a Director, appointed by the Vice-Chancellor of the University. The Director has to be an employee of the University and fulfill his or her obligations as Director under the terms of his or her employment contract.
Kristian Bolin is the Director of CHEGU since 1 January 2014. He is a professor of health economics at the Department of Economics at the University 91探花.
The CHEGU Steering Board is supposed to support and assist the Director in following on-going and suggesting new activities in order to satisfy the objectives of CHEGU. Chairperson and members of the Board are all appointed by the Vice-Chancellor of the University. The Director is not be a member of the Board but is responsible for presenting the items on the agenda at meetings of the Board.
The Steering Board is completed by an international Advisory Board, appointed jointly by the Director and the Steering Group. The purpose of the Advisory Board is to propose and follow research at CHEGU in view of the international development of the health-economics discipline.
The Steering Board and Director may also appoint reference groups for other specific purposes.
The activities of CHEGU have no boundaries as to disciplines, departments, or organizations, with the main initiators being the , and at the . Administrative functions such as director, administrative assistant, and web-master are carried out by employees belonging to departments participating in the collaborative activities of CHEGU. Thus, CHEGU has no personnel of its own. In the organizational scheme of the University 91探花, however, CHEGU belongs administratively to the responsibilities of the Board of the School of Business, Economics, and Law and is placed at the Department of Economics.
Steering group
