About us
The Department of Social Work is a part of the Faculty of Social 91̽»¨s at the University 91̽»¨. The department is one of the largest at the university with 1 500 students and a staff of 130.
The majority of our students are enrolled in the Bachelor of 91̽»¨ programme in Social Work - one of the most applied-for programmes in Sweden. We also offer three international Master's programmes, as well as second-cycle courses for professionals who wish to gain deeper knowledge about social work as well as an extensive comprehension of current research, or for the purpose of going on to graduate studies.
We are located in the heart of the city 91̽»¨, in the friendly neighbourhood of Haga - one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Gothenburg.
