Qualitative research methods
About
The course content relates to qualitative research that is being conducted at the department. Students are invited to work with different social phenomena (cases). In this work, students are asked to search for and find relevant scientific literature, formulate relevant research questions and reflect over the characteristics of qualitative research. Students further apply different qualitative data analysis methods (e.g., qualitative content analysis, discourse analysis) and reflect over how qualitative data can be presented in scientific reports.
