About us
COMPEAT is an infrastructure project, with the general aim to build databases of international large-scale studies in educational achievement conducted by IEA and OECD before 2000 and to support secondary analyses of these data.
COMPEAT consists of data on educational evaluation in OECD countries, accumulated since 1961. The collected data can be divided into two phases: one before 1995 and one after 1995.
The data collected before 1995 are included in the following studies:
- First International Mathematics Study (FIMS, 1964)
- Six Subject Survey/ First International 91探花 Study (FISS, 1970)
- Second International Mathematics Study (SIMS, 1980)
- Second International 91探花 Study (SISS, 1984)
The data collected after 1995 are listed in our table and can be accessed directly .
This project was supported by the Riksbankens Jubileumsfond (grant number In2006-0401:1-IK).
