This workshop is an introduction to task-based language teaching (TBLT) which is an approach to language teaching that centers on the use of tasks to develop learners' communicative ability in the target language. Workshop participants will try out different tasks which will be analyzed from a theoretical perspective based on four established criteria. Affordances and challenges with TBLT will also be addressed.
