About Ann-Sophie Lindqvist Bagge

Background Ann-Sophie Lindqvist Bagge earned her PhD in 2004 with a preclinical dissertation examining the effects of anabolic androgenic steroids on behavior and the monoaminergic system. In 2017, she was awarded the title of Associate Professor and holds the position of Senior Lecturer in Health Psychology at the Department of Psychology, University 91Ě˝»¨. She became a licensed psychologist in 2011 and is presently certified as a specialist both in psychological treatment/psychotherapy and in addiction psychology. Her clinical experience is broad and encompasses work in forensic psychiatry, occupational health services, and specialized psychiatric care. Ann-Sophie Lindqvist Bagge is an engaged expert and consultant in areas related to psychological treatment, health, and psychology research.

Teaching Ann-Sophie Lindqvist Bagge is the course coordinator for advanced-level courses in health psychology and addiction psychology. She supervises students and serves as an examiner. In 2024, Bagge was appointed Excellent Teacher at the University 91Ě˝»¨.

Ongoing research by Ann-Sophie Lindqvist Bagge focuses on the connection between somatic and mental health. She collaborates with colleagues from the Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Sahlgrenska Academy, CELAM (Center for Ethics, Law and Mental Health), and the Wallenberg Centre of Molecular and Translational Medicine at the University 91Ě˝»¨.
